Job Title: Welder Foreman (with Carpentry Experience)
Schedule: Full-time (some overtime or weekend work as needed) Starting Pay: $32 an hour based on experience
Position Summary: We are looking for a hands-on Welder Foreman with experience in both metal fabrication and carpentry to lead field and shop crews on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can read blueprints, oversee team productivity, maintain quality standards, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
This position offers an opportunity to use both welding and carpentry skills while taking on a leadership role in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise welders, fabricators, and carpenters on-site and/or in the shop. Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for both metal and wood construction projects. Oversee project setup, layout, and material coordination. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and schedule standards. Train and mentor team members in welding and carpentry techniques. Collaborate with project managers to plan work, track progress, and resolve on-site issues. Maintain equipment and tools in safe working condition.
Welder Foreman (with Carpentry Experience) Perform hands-on fabrication, welding, or carpentry work when required.
Qualifications: 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience (certification preferred). 2+ years of leadership or foreman experience. Solid understanding of construction and carpentry methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and schematics. Strong communication and organizational skills. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
