Description

Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning and performance analysis for a growing renewable energy organization in Vancouver, Washington. This role will partner with business leaders to evaluate results, build decision-ready insights, and strengthen reporting that guides operational and strategic choices. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced modeling capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.

• Analyze operating and financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, then present practical recommendations to stakeholders.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports that help leadership assess business performance and make informed decisions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and improve the accuracy of financial analyses.

• Support planning cycles by contributing to annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and variance reviews.

• Create management-ready summaries and presentations that explain key findings in a concise and actionable way.

• Evaluate business scenarios and investment considerations through detailed quantitative analysis.

• Assist with enhancements to financial reporting processes, tools, and workflows as business needs evolve.

Salary Range: $110,000–$120,000

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a corporate, project-based, or similarly complex business environment.

• Strong expertise in building financial models and interpreting data to support decision-making.

• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis quickly while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet-based analysis and financial reporting tools.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial partners.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
