Pacific Northwest

We are seeking a Part Time Mid-Shift Emergency Department RN to provide exceptional, safe care to every patient, every time. In our newly expanded, state-of-the-art Level II Trauma Center, you'll work collaboratively with a supportive team to serve our vibrant community in Southwest Washington.
The Opportunity
As a Mid- Shift Emergency RN working five 12-hour shifts per pay period ( 1500-0330 ), you’ll be on the front lines of fast-paced, high-acuity care. You’ll join a leading regional Cardiac and Comprehensive Stroke Center that manages more than 85,000 visits annually . Our Emergency Department includes:
68 private treatment rooms
A dedicated behavioral health unit
A helipad supporting Life Flight services

This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your emergency and trauma skills while caring for a diverse patient population in a cutting-edge environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs with a patient-centered approach.
Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record.
Direct and delegate care to other team members, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
Manage complex patient care situations, including the administration of tPA, seizure management, and blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents.
Maintain your professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development.
Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, quality improvement, and safety programs.

Competitive Pay: Our hourly wage for this position ranges from $56.92 to $86.09 (per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (https://cdn.wsna.org/assets/local-unit-assets/southwest-medical-center/PeaceHealth-Southwest-Contract-6.16.24-2.28.26.pdf) ) . We also offer great shift differentials of up to $7.75/hour a nd additional pay for advanced degrees and certifications.

Qualifications & Skills Needed
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
Licensure: A current Washington RN license or a current Multistate RN license is required by your date of hire.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency nursing required; preference for trauma experience.
Certifications: BLS required at the date of hire. ACLS, NIHSS and PALS is required within 6 months, TNCC required within 12 months of hire.
