PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Day position with a predictable schedule.
This role is ideal if you prefer weekend work, want consistency, or are looking to maximize pay while working fewer days.

Position Details
Role: Radiology Technologist
FTE: 0.60 (Part Time)
Schedule: Friday–Saturday, 0700–1930
Location: PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center – Vancouver, WA
Pay Range: $40.99 – $60.98/hour
Plus $1/hr weekend differential
Hiring rate based on experience, education, and union agreement
Job Summary
Prepare for and perform diagnostic x-ray examinations, including portable and surgical imaging. Use proper positioning, technique, and safety standards to produce high‑quality images while supporting patient comfort and care.
Essential Functions
Prepare and stock exam rooms based on procedure needs
Organize daily workflow and complete related clerical tasks
Review patient history, imaging, and clinical information
Perform appropriate exams and consult with physicians as needed
Educate and guide patients before and after exams
Adapt exams to patient conditions and clinical challenges
Follow radiation safety and infection control standards (ALARA)
Support staff and student education when appropriate
Perform additional duties within scope of practice as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience
1 year preferred
Required knowledge of PACS/RIS systems
Strong understanding of age‑specific patient care
Credentials
ARRT (Radiography) – required
Washington State Radiology Technologist license – required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – required upon hire
Recent graduates welcome:
ARRT‑eligible graduates may apply. ARRT(R) certification required within 3 months of hire. Temporary WA X‑Ray Technician Registration may be used while completing certification.
