Insight Global Quality Assurance Lead in Vancouver, Washington
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead on-site in Vancouver, WA. He or she will be joining the consumer R&D group, working on a Windows OS application program. The application that the organization is creating is a consumer-based subscription service product. The QA Lead will lead quality assurance execution for all new solutions and app launches across the product pipeline. This senior individual contributor will be responsible for end-to-end quality planning, validation, and release readiness. On a day-to-day basis, he or she will have the ability to define and maintain QA strategy, test plans, entry/exit criteria, and release readiness checkpoints; drive defect triage, deduplication, and root cause analysis, clearly reporting key findings and customer impact; lead internal and external Beta programs, including planning, execution, issue triage, and exit reporting; monitor quality metrics, identify trends and risks, and communicate findings to program leadership in a timely manner. This role is hybrid onsite 2 days a week with the hourly pay being $44.80.

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of hands‑on experience as a QA tester/lead with a focus on feature validation
Experience designing and executing automated test scripts in a production environment utilizing Python
Hands on experience performing engineering triage, including defect identification, root cause analysis, and escalation
Ability to implement structured pass/fail validation methodologies
Strong understanding of QA best practices, test lifecycle management, and quality engineering frameworks
Demonstrated experience as sole QA tester or QA lead in previous roles Previous PC experience
