Providence St. Joseph Health Program Coordinator - Remote in Vancouver, Washington

Description Program Coordinator - Remote This position is responsible for performance of technically detailed pharmacy and benefit work affecting pharmacy and health plan operations, programs and information systems in the Healthcare Experience & Operations Division Customer Services, Pharmacy. Position includes integration of technical pharmacy aspects with that of medical review, case management, mental health/chemical dependency, and quality management. The Customer Service Pharmacy Program Specialist responsibilities include communicating directly with Providence Health Plan (PHP) Members, PHP Network Pharmacies, and regulatory entities at the federal and state level. The position also communicates directly with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and other health care providers and their staffs regarding claims, medication management programs, and initiatives. This position works remotely and is open to candidates residing in: Portland, OR area Vancouver, WA area Required Qualifications: 3 years experience in a call center or a high-volume customer support setting Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Upon hire: Pharmacy Technician License or Upon hire: Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician in a managed care environment, OR 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy setting Salary Range by Location: Oregon: Portland Service Area: $26.79, Max: $40.99 Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: $26.79, Max: $40.99 Why Join Providence Health Plan?
