Insight Global is looking to hire a dynamic Senior Project Manager for one of our major retail clients to manage project progress, budget, milestones and more.
Outline of Role:
The ideal candidate will have a history of demonstrated results leading small to mid-size cross-functional teams to accomplish technology projects across matrixed organizations. They must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, create and simplify processes, and simultaneously support multiple projects impacting a growing global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively plan, manage, and deliver technology projects with agreed upon scope, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet timeline and business goals.
• Determine resource needs, support assigning individual tasks and responsibilities to project team, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
• Assemble resources and key decision makers from across the organization to deliver defined scope of work and support through go-live.
• Utilize project management tools, methods, and best practices to assemble project plans that align with expectations of stakeholders and meet business needs.
• Responsible for incident management between different tracks within a program. This includes activities such as incident triaging and status updates to stakeholder groups
• Responsible for problem ticket management consolidation, review and execution to resolution
• Ensure on-call schedule for production incidents is up to date and aligned with key stakeholders
• Release management knowledge transfer follow up with individuals who are on-call

Skills and Requirements
\• Education and/or strong work experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• 9+years in technology; 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing $500k plus budgets.
• Ability to successfully manage teams with competing priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization.
• Proven experience with enterprise systems/application implementation.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must Have: Demonstrated experience of technology tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is necessary. * Retail experience
