We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Enterprise Imaging Global Services unit. This role involves leading the deployment of Stratus Imaging Cloud Solutions for healthcare clients and working closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams.
The Project Manager will handle several customer projects at once, taking responsibility for project scope, scheduling, risk management, and communication from start to finish. Candidates who excel in complex healthcare environments and can coordinate effectively among different stakeholders will find this position rewarding.
You will manage scope, timelines, risks, and ensure that customers have a positive experience throughout multiple ongoing projects. You will use standard project management practices but adapt them to meet the needs of healthcare imaging, client readiness, and cloud-based solutions.
Moderate autonomy is required; you will independently oversee projects of varying complexity, escalating issues when necessary. You will also help improve processes and demonstrate willingness for greater responsibilities as you gain experience.
This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the Canada and the United States while supporting complex, customer facing implementation work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own the end to end delivery of Stratus Imaging implementation projects, from initiation through closeout
Partner with internal and customer stakeholders to confirm shared understanding of project scope, objectives, and success criteria
Proactively identify and raise misalignment or ambiguity in scope, expectations, or responsibilities
Develop and maintain project plans, including task sequencing, dependencies, effort estimates, and timelines
Manage project budgets and forecasts, including variance tracking and stakeholder communication
Apply standard project lifecycle methods and tools to drive predictable delivery outcomes
Lead project governance activities, including status reporting, risk and issue management, and change control
Facilitate cross functional project meetings with clinical, technical, and operational participants
Coordinate work across global project team members and shared services groups
Manage vendor and service provider contributions when applicable
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Global Services project management practices
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of project management experience, or at least five years working on healthcare software implementations
Proven track record of managing projects with different scopes, involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Able to handle several projects at once (usually between 6 and 10 at various stages)
Experience leading teams responsible for both clinical and technical tasks
Proficient in using project management tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar software
Skilled at facilitating structured meetings and guiding decisions among diverse groups of stakeholders
Involvement in or support of process improvement efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification
5+ years in project management roles
Proficient with Smartsheet
Experienced with distributed/global teams
Knowledgeable about healthcare imaging (Radiology and Cardiology workflows)
Familiar with medical imaging and hospital information systems
Understanding of databases and enterprise information systems
Experience delivering cloud solutions
Intermediate familiarity with HL7, FHIR, DICOM standards
Skilled at risk assessment and management
Can work well under pressure while staying professional
Solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills across cultures
