Insight Global Legal Assistant - Float in Vancouver, British Columbia
Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our client's Legal Support Services team. This is a float role, supporting various different lawyers and partners at the firm.
You will be setting court dates and communicating with registries; arranging court filings and applications;
preparing and drafting various correspondence and documents, including court pleadings;
drafting, preparing, editing, and formatting various legal documents and correspondence;
preparing transaction books as required;
maintaining efficient file management and bring-forward system; maintaining a full calendar, email management and managing lawyers’ practice; liaising with legal assistants, paralegals, other lawyers, and clients on file progress; and general administrative duties as required.

Skills and Requirements
graduate of an accredited legal assistant program or relevant experience;
a minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant;
strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, BC Online, and MYLTSA;
