Insight Global Cost Engineer in Vancouver, British Columbia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cost Engineer to join one of North America's largest retail and wellness companies. The ideal candidate will be overseeing and optimizing cloud spending across the organization to ensure cost efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reduction. The individual will be monitoring cloud usage to detect and address cost anomalies in real time, preventing unexpected expenses by partnering with architects and engineers across the organization. It is important that this candidate has an exploratory mindset and is a self starter.

Skills and Requirements
Has 8+ years of experience in cloud cost management and analysis
Experience with Native Tools in AWS (Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Cur Reports, or Cost and Utilization Reports), Costability, and Azure Cost Management
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Has either been an Engineer previously or has understanding of cloud engineering terminologies
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically
