AON Associate Account Executive, Surety - 12 Month Contract in Vancouver, British Columbia

Associate Account Executive- Surety- Contract

Note: This role is this a full-time hybrid role in our Vancouver office on a 12-month contract.

The salary range for this position is $56,600-75,400 . The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What the day will look like

  • Review bids and prepare sunshine letters, surety bonds and invoice preparation;

  • Lead by example and assist colleagues in delivering DAU to clients and prospects;

  • Delivering continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;

  • Collaborate with fellow colleagues across Canadian branches to deliver the best of Aon to clients and prospects in need of construction advisory service and solutions;

  • Identifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative and cost effective solutions;

  • Ensure all procedures, internal client files and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;

  • Reviewing and revise Surety facilities

  • Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;

  • Participating in industry sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;

  • Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business;

  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;

  • Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;

  • Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including both self-directed learning and in-role training.
