ManpowerGroup 2nd shift Material Handler in Vance, Alabama
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting the storeroom and inventory management functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Vance, AL
Pay Range: $16.50
Shift: Evenings (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm)
What's the Job?
Accurately receive and process incoming materials and parts
Perform systematic labeling, cycle counting, and record-keeping to maintain inventory integrity
Support plant operations by replenishing remote stores and delivering parts within the facility
Manage inventory stocking, reordering, and moving parts as needed
Maintain a clean and organized storeroom adhering to safety and 5S standards
What's Needed?
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and inventory management
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail for accurate counting and labeling
Good communication skills for effective interdepartmental coordination
Physical stamina for lifting, moving, and stocking parts
