Vantage Career Center Machining and Engineering Technologies Instructor in Van Wert, Ohio
Job Objectives: Plans, implements, and evaluates instruction in Machining and Engineering Technologies curriculum designed to address a wide range of skill levels. Within this pathway students will learn to invent, design, and manufacture the tools and components for a wide range of production needs and will use the same equipment and techniques as industry leaders. Industry certifications include: OSHA 10-Hour Safety Card and FANUC CNC Certification. The Machining and Engineering Technologies program is part of Vantage RAMTEC. Prior successful classroom instructional experience preferred. Helps students make appropriate choices and encourages parental involvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Possess or be eligible for valid state Department of Education license/certificate appropriate for position
· Ability to successfully teach courses in the Ohio Department of Education Machining and Engineering pathway
· Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
· A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
· Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
· Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions
· Training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques
