Realfin Quail Run General Cleaner in Van Wert, Ohio
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our apartment community. This position is responsible for cleaning vacant units, maintaining corridors and common areas, and assisting with basic grounds upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Vacant Unit Cleaning
- Perform full cleaning of vacant apartments prior to new resident move-in
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all rooms and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, and fixtures
- Remove trash and debris from units
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management
Corridor & Common Area Cleaning
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways and stairwells
- Clean entryways, lobby areas, mailrooms, and shared facilities
- Wipe down handrails, doors, light fixtures, and high-touch surfaces
- Ensure trash receptacles are emptied and liners replaced
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators (if applicable)
Grounds Maintenance Support
- Pick up litter and debris around the property
- Empty outdoor trash containers
- Assist with light landscaping duties as needed
- Keep walkways and entrances clean and safe
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, walking)
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work
- May require use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Flexible schedule, including possible weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
