Chef de section/Superviseur production

Le Chef de section est responsable d’assurer une production sûre, efficace et de haute qualité tout en atteignant les objectifs clés en matière de coûts, de qualité, de sécurité et de livraison. Ce rôle consiste à encadrer, former et soutenir les employés horaires, à renforcer la responsabilisation et à mettre en œuvre les stratégies du centre d’affaires dans la zone assignée.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Assurer une production sûre, ponctuelle et efficace afin de livrer des produits de haute qualité à l’étape suivante du processus et au client.

  • Atteindre les objectifs opérationnels de l’unité en matière de coûts, de qualité, de sécurité et de livraison.

  • Encadrer, former et soutenir les employés rémunérés à l’heure, en veillant à leur responsabilisation et à l’atteinte des objectifs.

  • Mettre en œuvre les stratégies du centre d’affaires au sein de l’atelier ou de la zone assignée.

  • Veiller au respect de toutes les normes de sécurité, procédures, audits et méthodes de travail standard.

  • Promouvoir l’amélioration continue et favoriser le développement des employés ainsi qu’une solide culture d’équipe.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • 1 an ou plus d'expérience de travail pertinente;

  • Baccalauréat ou 5 ans d’expérience de travail pertinente (supervision, gestion, production, etc.)

Ce qui vous distinguera

  • Connaissance fonctionnelle de l'anglais, un atout

  • Expérience des processus de fabrication de pneus : un atout.

  • Expérience dans un milieu syndiqué, un aout;

  • Capacité à gérer des tâches multiples;

  • Solides compétences en matière de communication et de résolution de problèmes;

  • Connaissance des procédures de sécurité et de qualité et des politiques de ressources humaines;

  • Capacité à diriger des équipes;

  • Capacité à utiliser les outils informatiques appropriés.

  • Le candidat retenu travaillera des quarts de 12 heures, actuellement de jour. L’horaire pourrait évoluer, et le candidat doit être disponible pour ce type de quarts.

Area manager - Production

The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while meeting key business objectives in cost, quality, safety, and delivery. The role leads, trains, and supports hourly employees, drives accountability, and implements business center strategies within the assigned area.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure safe, timely, and efficient production to deliver high‑quality products to the next process stage and the customer.

  • Achieve unit business objectives related to cost, quality, safety, and delivery.

  • Lead, train, and support hourly employees, ensuring accountability for performance and goals.

  • Implement business center strategies within the workshop/area.

  • Enforce compliance with all safety standards, procedures, audits, and standard work methods.

  • Promote continuous improvement and foster employee development and a strong team culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of one-year relevant work experience.

  • Fluent in French.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience in tire manufacturing processes: an asset.

  • 4-year technical degree, desired.

  • Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks;

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;

  • Knowledge of safety and quality procedures, HR policies, and budgeting;

  • Ability to lead teams.

  • Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology.

Other Details

  • The candidate will work 12-hour shifts, currently during the day. The schedule is subject to change, and the candidate must be available for this type of shift.
