Job Description
The assembler is responsible for assembling, fits, and tests large, complex mechanical and inflatable survival systems used in marine and aviation environments.
Responsibilities
Assemble components used in inflatable life rafts, evacuation slides, and marine safety systems.
Perform mechanical assembly of metal frames, fittings, valves, fasteners, and fabric-based inflatable components.
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications to complete assemblies accurately.
Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly during all assembly tasks.
Perform pressure testing, functional testing, and visual inspections in accordance with quality and safety requirements.
Identify, document, and report defects, nonconformances, or assembly issues to production and quality teams in a timely manner.
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing protocols throughout the production process.
Support rework, repairs, and product modifications as required to meet product and customer specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in a production, mechanic, builder, or industrial setting.
Work Environment
Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with regular overtime opportunities on Saturdays for approximately 5–6 hours as needed. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment focused on assembling, will be wearing ppe.

This is a Contract position based out of Valley Center, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
