PruittHealth Direct Care Supervisor in Valdosta, Georgia
JOB PURPOSE:
Assists in the day to day activities of the clients and oversees direct care staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises unit staff
Sets work schedules to provide proper coverage according to staffing patterns and budget
Interviews and hires for direct care staff vacancies
Makes compliance rounds daily
Monitors active treatment in progress
Provides orientation scheduling for new staff
Directly trains and re-trains DCS on general policies, care techniques and compliance issues.
Counsels with DCS regarding job performance as needed and reviews disciplinary actions that are to be issued
Requisitions and monitors supplies needed for the DCS to provide proper care
Maintains attendance records on DCS according to policies
Maintains and monitors DCS in-service records
Follows and enforces all facility, company and partner services policies
Completes and resents, as required or assigned, performance evaluations for DCS
Operates at all times within ICF/MR regulations and all state and federal laws
