WELLS Yard Supervisor in VALDERS, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Yard Supervisor coordinates yard activities to ensure smooth operations of yard activities including but not limited to patching, sandblasting, stockpiling, loading, yard organization, etc. Prospective candidates shall have knowledge of shop drawings, proper handling of precast components, as well as good knowledge of rigging. The individual must be self-motivated, be able to work well with others and possess good communication and organizational skills. WHY WORK FOR US? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate, schedule and lead all yard personnel of start times and daily tasks. Have knowledge of material that needs to be stockpiled to ensure orderly storage, as well as organizing adequate yard space based on the size of the project being stocked. Coordinate stripping with production to ensure the proper amount of equipment is available so the operation can be completed in a timely manner. Coordinate with dispatch to have an adequate amount of loads loaded ahead - coordinate loading of return loads, ensuring equipment is available as not to delay shipment. Maintain overall organization of the yard space including storage of finished product, storage of trailers, parking, etc. Manage housekeeping, snow removal, and grading of the yard.
