JOB SUMMARY: The Tooling Maintenance Technician I is responsible for assessing, repairing, and maintaining tools and dies. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting die and tooling issues, performing repairs and sharpening, maintaining the die library, and utilizing precision measurement tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
Assess problems or maintenance needed on a tool
Repair worn or broken tools and dies as required
Maintain the existing die library in good condition
Perform simple sharpening
Work with other support tools, such as mics, gauges, and hand tools
Sustain a steady work pace and follow a schedule
Always keep work area clean
Satisfy department operating procedures to quality standards
Organize and maintain departmental equipment and supplies
Attend training as needed or assigned
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Tooling Journeyworker Card preferred
Ability to interpret dimensional drawings is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic to advanced math skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services
Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
SHIFT/SITE:
Monday-Friday
1st: 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
3rd: 11:00pm - 7:30am

WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$18.25 per hour - $25.50 per hour
($37,960- $53,040 annually)
