Carpenter - Facilities Management - Full Time (1.0) - Day Shift

Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Group Leader and/or direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor the Carpenter will provide all aspects of service in the carpentry trade with general electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Core Job Responsibilities
Familiar with the safe use of all hand wood working tools
Understanding of OSHA, Local State and DOH codes and regulations as related to a hospital setting
Ability to understand and complete preventative maintenance programs
Experienced in hanging and taping sheet rock.
Working knowledge of how to safely use a bucket loader and plow truck.
General electrical and mechanical knowledge
Capability of installing suspended ceiling systems
Familiar with reading blue prints and construction documents
Perform other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, trade school
2-3 years related experience
