Ag Construction Laborers. Daily job duties for farm grain storage and material handling activities: Assembly of grain bin parts and pieces. Steel erection. Picking and carrying 40 lbs or more. Layout and assembling grain equipment. Concrete pouring and finishing. Job area cleaning. Measuring and marking material to be cut. Use of power tools. Welding with training provided. Landscape maintenance. Metal building work. Organizing work area and warehouse with products needed for construction. Equipment Operation. General manual labor. Will work on ladders and various heights. General Conditions: If work is available beyond normal workdays, employer may offer, but not require, worker an opportunity to work additional hours. Workers will report to work at designated time and place as directed by assigned employer each day. workers may be requested ten (10) hours per day but not required. Also, workers may be requested to work on federal holidays and their Sabbath but will not be required. Workers may volunteer to work additional hours when work is available. Downtime: Workers should expect occasional periods of little or no work because of weather or other conditions beyond the employer’s control. These periods can occur any time throughout the season. Workers should be able to stand, bend, stop and work for prolonged periods of time and be physically fit to perform duties as assigned. Care must always be exercised with any use of equipment.
