JOB TITLE:

Sewing Machine Operator

DEPARTMENT:

Sew Room

CSI Saddle Pads is looking to hire Sewing Machine Operators to assist in production finishing of our innovative and industry-leading orthotic saddle pads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sewing Machine Operators are responsible for and may be required to perform any of the following:

Assessing and ensuring personal safety and appropriate use of PPE as needed;

-

Inspecting prepared materials and finished products for defects, accuracy, and quality;

-

Operating heavy-duty industrial single-needle sewing machines to assemble products based on work orders and standard procedures;

-

Cut, measure, and trim materials before or after sewing;

-

Inspecting finished product defects and maintain material quality;

-

Performing routine maintenance and minor adjustments on machines, such as changing needles or adjusting tension;

Loading, unloading, and transporting throughout the building prepared materials and finished products on carts;

-

Assisting with loading and unloading trailers and trucks with raw materials, finished product, and/or other items as needed;

-

Assisting with weekly facility cleaning;

-

Performing other reasonably assigned duties as needed by management.
