We are the Proteomic Sciences division (former Olink Proteomics). Our solutions are transforming the understanding of human diseases through advanced protein biomarker discovery. With our innovative Olink solutions – including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5,000 proteins – our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine.
Position Description:
We are looking for a Staff Software Developer to join our Olink NPX teams as a part of our Software Development department at our HQ in Uppsala. Our Software Developers work in agile ways and across the stack to build innovative, ground-breaking applications.
As a Staff Software Developer, you will provide technical leadership and architectural guidance while developing innovative software solutions. You will support the growth of other developers, drive adoption of best practices, and help shape the technical direction of critical projects. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while contributing to groundbreaking scientific discoveries.
Our NPX software’s (https://olink.com/software/npx-software) are data analysis platforms, handling pipelines that supports our Olink Products. They are used by our customers to generate and quality control the proteomics data that comes out of the laboratories and is an integral part of groundbreaking medical studies
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain our NPX software's in a high quality manner, whilst working together with fellow developers and data scientists
Advocate and be a driving force for; good design and sound technical choices aligned with business and product needs according to the product roadmap set by PO and PM
Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into functions
Drive estimations and functional design and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
Contribute to the technical aspects in the product backlog, ensuring security, design and development velocity
Assist in improving the development processes and velocity
Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of proven industry experience in software development
Experience from previous technical lead positions in a software development team, focusing on architectural decisions
Strong knowledge of C#/.NET as well as some kind of frontend framework (we use Avalonia UI)
Strong track record of mentorship and leadership
Well-versed in modern development tools
Openness to work across the stack
Full professional proficiency in English and Swedish is a must
Knowledge of biological sciences and bioinformatics is a strong plus

You should be based around the Uppsala or Stockholm region and able to attend our Uppsala HQ on a regular basis, we work 3 days from the office with flexibility of 2 days from home.
