Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Establish a downward trend in negative incidents, either violent or verbal, by fostering a culture of safety and security
- Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
- Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and security violations
- Stand or walk constantly; Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Read, understand and clearly speak English to give and receive instructions, using phones or radios
- Write detailed narrative reports, maintain daily activity reports
?Qualifications:
- Able to work weekends
- Must be of at least 21 years of age and have your own personal transportation
- Physically Fit with the ability to stand or walk constantly, run, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders regularly during shift
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more with or without assistance
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields preferred
- Must be eligible to obtain a Maryland Guard Card
- Must possess employment history demonstrating reliability and dependability
- Able to handle emergency hands on situations effectively while remaining calm
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently while also being a team player
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
