We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume hospital pharmacy setting. This role works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate medication preparation, labeling, and distribution to support patient care.
Location: San Bernadino County, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F
Contract: 3-Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Fill prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy setting
Mix and prepare pharmaceutical compounds and sterile/non-sterile preparations as assigned
Count, measure, and package tablets, capsules, and other medications accurately
Generate and apply prescription labels
Assist with medication distribution and inventory control
Receive, inspect, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards
Support pharmacy workflow to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
Qualifications
3–5 years of pharmacy technician experience (hospital experience strongly preferred)
Active California Pharmacy Technician license
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication handling procedures
Experience with automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software preferred
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
