Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for compassionate and dedicated School Aides to support students with academic and behavioral needs in a school setting. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference—every single day.
What You’ll Do
Provide 1:1 or classroom support for students with learning and behavioral goals
Assist with reading, math, speech, life skills, and social games
Support students during lunch, recess, and community outings
Help with self-care routines (toileting, hygiene, dressing)
Collaborate with teachers, therapists (PT, OT, SLP), and behavior staff
Implement behavior management strategies
Assist with clerical tasks like copying, organizing, and scoring assignments
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
? What You’ll Need
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and support students with diverse needs
Computer proficiency preferred
Ability to pass background screening and meet all requirements
English fluency (verbal and written)
Certification as required by state or client (if applicable)
