In business for +45 years Kovatch Castings is a growing manufacturer of precision investment metal castings produced to meet aerospace, military, defense, and commercial customer needs. We are driven to be the standard of excellence in the investment casting industry through superior customer service, quality, reliability, and engineering expertise.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, repairing, and replacing equipment, as well as performing preventative maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. The Maintenance Technician should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. PLC programming for Allen-Bradley, GE, Idec and Mitsubishi controllers would be helpful but not required.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen to be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Electrical troubleshooting, experience working with 480 VAC required.
- Inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and computer literate for documentation of work orders.
Must possess tools for machinery and facility maintenance.
Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license.

Education and/or Experience:
An associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College of technical school AND two years related experience and/or training.
Literate in Windows and internet searches for machine parts sourcing and vendor information would be helpful but not required. Programming for Allen-Bradley, GE, Idec and Misubishi controllers would be helpful, but not required.
