Food Service Worker – 1st Shift | Weekly Pay | Stable Schedule

We’re hiring Food Service Workers to support kitchen operations in a structured, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with nutritional program guidelines

  • Portion meals accurately to meet required standards

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils after each meal

  • Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, slicers, fryers, and dishwashers

  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, coolers, freezers, and workstations

  • Work alongside team members to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring:

  • Previous food service, kitchen, or cafeteria experience preferred

  • Ability to follow strict safety, sanitation, and compliance guidelines

  • Comfortable working in a structured environment

  • Strong reliability and teamwork

Schedule:

  • Morning Shift Required

  • Every other weekend required

  • Holidays as scheduled

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 40 lbs with or without assistance

  • Stand, walk, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Important Notes:

  • Must follow all safety protocols and facility policies

  • Position is located on DJJ property

  • Will be working in the presence of juveniles assisting in kitchen operations

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
