Temporary farmworkers needed to plant, cultivate, harvest, sort, and package vegetables/fruits. Workers will also complete tasks associated with general farm labor, including but not limited to transplanting, applying fertilizer, weeding, pruning, hoeing, farm maintenance, planting, feeding and herding livestock; or removing animal waste, installing and maintaining irrigation systems. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. Workers may operate tractors, forklift driving, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. The work will be done in Montgomery County, OH.

Work schedule is generally 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday/Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.

Employers provide housing at no cost to workers in corresponding employment who are not reasonably able to return same day to their residence. Separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers. Kitchen and other common facilities are shared. Housing for workers only. H 2A workers who receive employer provided housing at no cost will be offered a wage rate of $13.15 per hour, based on the H-2A Adverse Compensation Adjustment for the State of Ohio.

Workers hired from beyond normal commuting distance will be reimbursed for inbound transportation costs. Upon completion of the work contract, these workers will also be provided with outbound transportation costs.
