How you create impact
As the Warehouse Shipping Associate you will manage warehouse logistics, including preparing, packaging, and labeling outgoing shipments to meet company standards and carrier regulations. They are responsible for generating shipping documents (bills of lading), scheduling carrier pickups, and ensuring inventory moves efficiently. Key duties include inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality and managing stock levels.
Essential Duties and Functions (Not fully inclusive):
Pack, seal, and label orders, ensuring they are ready for transport.
Generate shipping documents, bills of lading, and tracking information.
Schedule pickups and coordinate with freight carriers.
Unload, sort, organize, and store shipments.
Inspect products for damage and verify the accuracy of orders before dispatch.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including PPE requirements and hazardous material handling.
Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Adhere to all safety guidelines (OSHA, MSDS), maintain a clean, orderly work area, and ensure the security of the warehouse.
Ability to operate tools for role such as RF Scanner and Hip Printer.
Ensure stored location inventory and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage.
Ability to palletize and shrink-wrap.
Comfortable with walking and standing up to 8 hours per day during processing hours.
May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift-up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
Assist in other departments on a business need basis.
Other duties may be assigned due to business need.
What we would like you to bring
Minimum Education: High School, High School Equivalent
1+ years of experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations required.
Must Work 3rd shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Schedule flexibility - Ability to work weekends and overtime.
Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office. (Excel, Outlook etc.)
Prior experience lifting to 75lbs and operate Material Handling Equipment as needed. (Pallet Jack, Forklift)
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
Ability to work in a non-temperature control warehouse setting.
Fluent in English.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
