We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Automation Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and executing building automation projects from start to finish, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with various teams to coordinate resources, manage project schedules, and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities
Review the contract thoroughly and provide feedback to the Project Executive regarding contract value, scope of work, and terms and conditions.
Confirm receipt of the contract or purchase order and finalize project booking.
Collaborate with field superintendents and estimating teams to provide labor breakdown phasing for effective labor tracking.
Develop project implementation plans and coordinate resources for timely and cost-effective completion.
Work with Project Coordinators to integrate projects into the company's accounting system.
Construct, publish, and update design and construction schedules on a weekly basis.
Create, present, and negotiate monthly progress billing to clients.
Manage, procure, and schedule equipment and oversee subcontractor submittal processes.
Survey, update, and publish labor tracking and installation productivity to the field.
Conduct weekly construction team meetings and set '4-week' look-ahead production goals.
Present monthly project financial summaries.
Handle Change Order Management and maintain job site client relations.
Manage and complete Punchlist, Start-up, and Commissioning activities.
Compile and transmit all required closeout documents.
Maintain safety standards with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Experience in Building Automation Design and Engineering is a plus.
Project Manager experience in the construction industry preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical construction business, especially with design-build projects and life sciences.
Ability to learn and utilize construction software platforms.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Able to work as a team player, but also independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Process and outcome-driven with a focus on hardware engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HVAC design and Honeywell products is advantageous.
Strong project management skills in various construction projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
