Forklift Operator
For a rapidly growing robotics startup based in Union City, CA, we are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support testing and daily operation of advanced robotic forklifts in customer warehouses. In this full-time, day shift role, you will operate reach truck and counterbalance forklifts both manually and through automation technology while collaborating closely with engineers. The focus of this position is to help improve reliability and the operator experience of robotic forklifts by executing structured tests, providing detailed feedback, and performing standard warehouse tasks. Benefits
Hourly pay range: $22–$25 per hour, with overtime paid for anything over 8 hours worked daily.
Full-time role with an 8-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday on-site.

What You Will Do?
Operate reach truck and counterbalance forklifts in customer warehouses, both manually and using the client’s automation technology as required.
Test and operate robotic forklifts while managing autonomous forklifts via company software to support product development.
Coordinate with engineers to maintain the forklift operation schedule, execute test plans, and evaluate new features in actual warehouse conditions.
Provide structured feedback on the operator console to the frontend team, documenting usability observations and suggested improvements.
Perform standard warehouse tasks including unloading, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and creating shipping manifests according to procedures.
Assist the field engineering team with shipments, deliveries, and testing support, ensuring equipment and materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation of product issues and safety reports, communicating clearly with engineers and management regarding operational findings.
Your Skills
Minimum 2 years of reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience, specifically in warehouse or similar industrial environments .
Current OSHA forklift certification for indoor forklift operation, with demonstrated adherence to established safety procedures and regulations.
Clean background and driving record required, supporting safe operation of equipment and compliance with client policies.
Experience with warehouse software and standard office tools, with familiarity using Google Docs, Slack, etc. considered a strong plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interaction with engineers, field staff, and warehouse personnel.
Physical ability to meet job demands including standing and walking 8 hours per day, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting light to heavy loads, finger dexterity and grasping, balancing, kneeling, and maintaining visual and auditory capabilities to perform tasks safely.
Mental readiness to follow instructions, complete routine forms, make decisions, apply reasoning, stay organized in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
