About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Carpenter Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea .
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for construction or repair.
Perform maintenance and repair of existing wooden structures and fittings.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with engineers and other trades to complete tasks as per project timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hold a high school diploma / ITI equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry preferred.
Demonstrate good moral character and communicate effectively in English.
Have 2+ years of experience in industrial or construction carpentry.
Good oral and written communication is an advantage.
Interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
