We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee demolition projects and the removal of old facility equipment within a fast-paced chemical manufacturing plant. This role requires a proactive individual who can organize teams, ensure timely project completion, and prioritize safety standards.
Responsibilities
Handle demolition projects and manage the removal of old facility equipment.
Organize and coordinate project teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Ensure all projects are completed on time and adhere to safety protocols.
Hold contractors accountable to safety and project standards, particularly in a heavy industrial setting.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
Utilize planning and scheduling skills to ensure project success.
Essential Skills
Experience in heavy industry environments such as chemical manufacturing or heavy industrial sectors.
Proven project management experience, including managing and coordinating subcontractors.
Strong planning and scheduling skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience within a chemical environment is a plus.
Experience with demolition projects is advantageous.
Proficiency with planning software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Understanding of CAD drawings.
Experience managing projects ranging from $100k to $500k.
Work Environment
This position requires 100% on-site presence in a unique and fast-paced chemical manufacturing plant. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. The environment promotes independence, with a hands-off management approach, allowing you to run your projects while prioritizing safety. The role involves working with both digital and hard copy files, including Excel and CAD files.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $95.00/hr.
