?️ About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Boilermaker to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and related equipment. You’ll work with heavy materials, precise measurements, and high‑temperature systems—perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and safety.
? Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Lay out, cut, shape, and weld metal components
Assemble and install boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels
Inspect and test systems for leaks, defects, and compliance
Operate hoists, cranes, torches, and other heavy equipment
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems
Follow all safety protocols, including confined‑space and hot‑work procedures
Collaborate with welders, pipefitters, and project supervisors
? Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a boilermaker or in heavy industrial fabrication
Strong knowledge of boiler systems, pressure vessels, and structural steel
Proficiency in welding (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW) and metal fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces
Understanding of OSHA and job‑site safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred
⭐ Preferred Skills
ASME certification or pressure‑vessel experience
Rigging and crane‑signal training
Experience in power plants, refineries, or industrial facilities
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
