Xylem Senior Field Service Technician / CDL-A Driver in Turlock, California

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat endorsement to support field service operations. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond driving—candidates must be willing to get out of the truck and assist with on-site work, including equipment support, loading/unloading, and general labor tasks. This is not a drop-and-hook position. We are willing to train the right candidate on our processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Class A commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
Transport equipment and materials to and from customer sites
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
Perform hands-on field work at job sites (mechanical, general labor, or support tasks)
Support basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment (training provided)
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols
Communicate effectively with team members and customers on-site
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL required
Hazmat endorsement required
Willingness to perform physical work outside of driving duties
Ability to work in a team environment and take direction as needed
Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous warehouse, logistics, or field service experience
Mechanical aptitude or experience working with equipment
Experience with industrial or commercial environments
Travel Requirements:
- 20–40% travel required (may include overnight stays)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
