Aerotek Maintenance Electromechanic in Turlock, California
An industrial operation in Turlock is looking for a Maintenance Electromechanic to help keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role supports day‑to‑day plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery that combines electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.
? Position Summary
The technician will work across multiple types of equipment, handling both routine maintenance and urgent repairs. The job involves diagnosing issues in motors, control components, and mechanical assemblies, as well as supporting equipment upgrades and installations.
?️ Core Responsibilities
Conduct inspections, repairs, and adjustments on electromechanical equipment such as motors, conveyors, pumps, and automated systems.
Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
Perform scheduled maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Assist with installation, alignment, and setup of new machinery and system components.
Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, wiring, and control devices.
Record maintenance activities and communicate equipment needs to leadership.
Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment.
⚙️ Preferred Experience
Hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Skilled with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and mechanical measurement instruments.
Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced production setting.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams.
? Preferred Qualifications
Technical training or certification in electromechanical or industrial maintenance disciplines.
Experience in manufacturing, processing, or other industrial environments.
Familiarity with automation or PLC‑based equipment.
? Work Environment
Full‑time role with potential for shift work, overtime, or weekend coverage.
Industrial setting with exposure to heat, humidity, and production‑level noise.
