? Position Details
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Tulsa, OK 74117 (Onsite)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $32.18/hour
Employment Type: Contract (48 months) - Temp to Hire
? What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Inspections:
Execute inspection duties using engineering drawings, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures/instructions, and other relevant documents.
Initial, Preliminary, and Progressive Inspections:
Carry out inspections on aircraft structures and systems during various production phases, including function checks, FOD (Foreign Object Debris) inspections, and final paperwork verification.
Process Verification and Documentation:
Witness, verify, and document manufacturing process steps as required.
Conformity/First Article Inspections:
Perform conformity and first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA-approved procedures.
Tool and Equipment Management:
Ensure proper use and storage of area tools and equipment.
Health, Safety, and Risk Reduction:
Promote and participate in health, safety, and risk reduction activities, including reporting hazards and assisting in investigations.
Technical Support:
Offer technical support to manufacturing personnel as needed.
Area Compliance Inspections:
Perform inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Continuous Improvement:
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives in the workplace.
Other Duties as Assigned:
Complete additional related tasks as directed by management.
? What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience required .
2 years general manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience.
Completion of a Formal Inspection Training Program (minimum 90 days).
Working knowledge of shop mathematics.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Competence in using basic shop tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or CATIA.
Willingness to engage with safety and risk management processes.
