How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Reducing Medical Errors & Harm: Finding and reducing risks, like medication mistakes or infections from the hospital, helps prevent harm to patients.

  • Implementing Evidence-Based Practices: Utilizing proven safety protocols that help lower the risks tied to being in the hospital.

  • Investigating Incidents Systematically : When mistakes happen, investigating them thoroughly to find out what went wrong in the system, not just who made the error.

  • Ensuring Compliance & Reducing Risk: Ensuring the facility follows the necessary accreditation and government rules, which helps lower legal and financial risks.

  • Improving Quality of Care: Reviewing patient data to spot trends that lead to better health outcomes and greater patient satisfaction.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Prior Patient Safety experience conducting causal analyses, investigating events, conducting event reviews, etc. is preferred.

  • Ability to travel between OK Market Ascension facilities located in and near Tulsa and Bartlesville.
