System One Mail Clerk in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Title: Mail Clerk
Status: Hourly, Full-Time, Temporary
Location: In Office (Tulsa, OK)
Pay: $18.50/hour
Duration: May 25 through approximately October–December OVERVIEW
This position supports a large-scale benefits distribution operation by ensuring accurate and timely handling of returned mail. The role is responsible for sorting, organizing, researching, and resending mail to improve delivery accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Mail Clerk reports directly to the Program Manager and is responsible for processing and organizing incoming and outgoing mail in a fast-paced environment, as well as assisting clients during scheduled pickup appointments. Core responsibilities include:
Mail Processing & Sorting:
Process and sort up to 400 pieces of mail per day as part of a team, ensuring all items are accurately categorized and handled according to established guidelines.
Mail Organizing & Filing:
Systematically organize, sort, and file all incoming and outgoing mail to ensure easy access and retrieval. This includes labeling, categorizing, and maintaining an organized, pre-set filing system for both physical and digital records.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter mail and client information into CRM software, maintaining up-to-date records for tracking and reporting purposes.
Customer Service:
Ensure a seamless customer experience during pickup appointments and prioritize empathetic, supportive interactions with both clients and internal team members.
WHO YOU ARE
To qualify for this position, you will:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess basic computer skills and a willingness to learn a new CRM system
Be able to handle repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Be able to stand or remain on your feet for extended periods of time
Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Provide high-quality customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Have mailroom experience handling large volumes of physical materials (preferred)

WHAT ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The role requires medium physical effort, including lifting or moving materials weighing approximately 20–30 pounds.
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
A reliable commute to the worksite is required.
