Aerotek Lead Cnc Machinist in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Title: Lead CNC Machinist – 1st Shift
Climate‑Controlled Facility | $28–$32/hr
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead CNC Machinist who is confident in both setup and operation and ready to take ownership of high‑precision machining projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a clean, climate‑controlled environment and wants to continue growing their technical and leadership skills. You’ll work with modern Haas equipment, contribute to programming, and play a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate Haas VMCs and/or CNC turning centers
Program G‑code and/or create CAM programs for new and repeat jobs
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T callouts
Perform in‑process and final inspections with proper documentation
Collaborate directly with management on job progress, challenges, and improvements
What You Bring
3+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation
Hands‑on experience with Haas controls
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience performing inspections and verifying part quality
Preferred Skills
CAM programming experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues efficiently
Experience with both CNC lathes and mills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
