Crane 1 Services, Inc. Field Operations Manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma
The Field Operations Manager is involved in the day-to-day operation of the business including insulation removal and installation, as well as ensuring that vehicles and equipment are maintained and operated safely. This position will also handle customer care complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a demanding, 'hands-on', entrepreneurial position that requires a person with the ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of management and sales-oriented activities. It is a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. A great amount of interaction is required.
Salary: $100k-$120k
Management Responsibilities
Hires, trains, and coaches/mentors new employees.
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Field Operations Manager Role & Responsibilities
Plans and organizes daily activities related to service and operations. Leads daily operations which will include daily start up & wrap up meetings.
Leads a culture and accountability across the business as it relates to Safety, Quality & Efficiency of our workmanship to generate complete Customer satisfaction.
Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
Ensures all vehicles and rigs are properly maintained and in good working order.
Determines labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operations goals.
Manages budgets and forecasts for operations unit.
Purchases materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency and safety.
Performs high quality insulation removal and installation as needed and inspects jobs upon completion.
Ensures that all legally required documents are kept up to date.
Provides continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety.
Performs other related duties as required.
Field Operations Manager Requirements
KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of at least (3) years of Business / Project Management, preferably in an industrial service segment. At least (5) years managing teams/people.
TRAVEL: 5%+ travel and overnights
SKILLS:
Excellent managerial, leadership, and supervisory skills.
Prior knowledge of operations management.
A competitive nature to meet and exceed sales goals. A track record of strong communication skills.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Understanding of the industrial maintenance and repair business.
Thorough understanding of the financials for a service company.
Understanding of the OSHA/ANSI standard (is required).
Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set service goals.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience using a CRM preferred.
