Job Title: Diesel Technician
Job Description
Diagnose and repair diesel engines in various vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal engine performance. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to inspect and repair components. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for effective troubleshooting. Align and transmit engines for performance optimization. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines across a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal engine performance.
Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment for inspection and repair of components.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues.
Align and transmit engines to optimize performance.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services conducted.
Essential Skills
Expertise in diesel engine repair, including transmissions, differentials, and engines.
Strong diagnostic skills with software and equipment.
Extensive experience with driveline, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Proficiency with reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in diesel engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in repairing tractor-trailers and farm machinery.
Strong knowledge of air brake systems.
Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
