Job Title: Project Coordinator / Construction Administrator
Location: Tukwila, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Job Summary
Our client in Tukwila, WA is hiring a Project Coordinator / Construction Administrator to support day‑to‑day construction and office operations. This onsite role assists project teams with administrative tasks, financial processing, permit coordination, and document control. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with room to grow into expanded project coordination or project management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, job cost coding)
Support accounts receivable tasks including billing assistance and lien release tracking
Assist with payroll support such as timesheet collection, hour verification, and job coding
Track and maintain compliance documents (COIs, W‑9s, vendor/subcontractor onboarding)
Support permit tracking, renewals, and documentation
Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate approvals and timely processing
Maintain organized project files and document control systems (SharePoint, Procore, Box, or similar)
Assist with RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project closeout documentation
Prepare basic reports and tracking logs as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience in construction, engineering, or related field
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working with financial and job cost information
Familiarity with construction documentation and permit processes
Proficient with document management systems
Strong communication skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
