Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Tualatin, Oregon

Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to oversee comprehensive payroll processes for a workforce of over 1,000 employees. This long-term contract position is based in Tualatin, Oregon, and requires someone with strong attention to detail, expertise in multi-state payroll, restricted stock handling, and advanced reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure accurate payroll management.

Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for 1,000+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with multi-state regulations.

• Manage off-cycle payroll activities, including issuing checks and handling restricted stock units (RSUs).

• Conduct audits and generate detailed reports to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.

• Perform employment verifications and assist employees with access to payroll systems.

• Utilize equity management platforms to update reports and track stock-related transactions.

• Handle post-payroll close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Ensure the accuracy of timekeeping records and address discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll operations and improve efficiency.

• Maintain and update payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now, to support organizational needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations.

• Expertise in multi-state payroll regulations and compliance.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience working in public companies is highly desirable.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
