Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of all Assembly, Molding, Stamping, and Plating area equipment. The role also involves supporting new product introductions and providing technical and operational support to all departments.
Responsibilities
Ensure troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and general maintenance of all area equipment are completed professionally and timely.
Ensure all safety devices are in place, functional, and compliant with company safety policies and procedures.
Provide technical support and training to area personnel to ensure production engineering quality and the safe and proper use of production and machine room equipment.
Maintain records and spare parts inventory, consumable parts, and miscellaneous items.
Place orders for necessary parts and supplies.
Operate all hand and power tools and tool room machinery.
Responsible for the safekeeping of precision measuring instruments and all tools issued to the maintenance area.
Audit preventative maintenance duties performed by Assembly area personnel.
Monitor and recommend improvements to the production area as needed.
Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.
Support and foster active participation in, and compliance with, corporate values as outlined in the Corporate Values and Expectations Handbook.
Complete on-the-job and specialized training as required.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years' experience with the maintenance and repair of manual and automated assembly equipment.
High school level math, including decimals and metrics.
Ability to work from blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, sketches, and written instructions.
Proficient with precision measuring instruments commonly used in the trade.
Proficient with some machine room equipment and hand tools.
Must have troubleshooting and problem analyzing skills.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous maintenance experience on automated equipment and electrical troubleshooting experience utilizing multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Willingness to consider candidates who are straight out of a maintenance trade school.

Work Environment
Work in a clean manufacturing environment as part of a maintenance team dedicated to keeping production running smoothly. This position requires long periods of standing and is performed on all shifts during all hours, as the department functions around the clock. Available shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
