Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR operations within our organization. Based in Tualatin, Oregon, this role plays a critical part in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting strategic organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, compliance, and HR systems, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes.

• Offer consultative support to leadership on employee-related issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant practices.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.

• Oversee the development, implementation, and updates of HR policies to align with legal and organizational requirements.

• Administer benefits programs, managing vendor relationships, enrollments, and annual renewals to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with payroll to address HR-related payroll concerns and support audits and reporting needs.

• Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

• Manage and optimize HR systems to maintain data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and scalable processes.

• Partner with leadership on compensation planning, workforce strategies, and organizational initiatives.

• Maintain thorough and organized records of HR actions, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in employee relations, HR administration, and compliance within a manufacturing or similar environment.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in managing benefits programs and working with HRIS systems.

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and discretion.

• Experience overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and compliant HR documentation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with leadership and employees.
