About Us: Brought & Osgood CPA's is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Certified Public Accountant to join our team. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, provides excellent customer service, and is committed to accuracy and professionalism in all aspects of financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients in person, by phone, and via email
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Assist with periodic financial reporting and other accounting tasks as assigned
Software & Programs Used:
Candidates should be comfortable working with:
- QuickBooks
- Quicken
- UltraTax
- Accounting CS
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA License from a Regulatory Body
- Previous accounting or tax preparation experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must pass a PA State Criminal Record Background Check
- Must pass an FBI Fingerprint Background Check
