Job Title: General Production Operator $24 to $29/hr
Job Description
As a General Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will begin each shift by meeting with your team lead or supervisor to review your assigned batches for the day. This role involves transitioning from paper to digital batching sheets on a computer, and you will be responsible for reviewing batch orders and using SAP to request necessary materials. Your duties will include cleaning and verifying equipment prior to mixing, weighing and charging materials, working with organic solvents and powders, and ensuring quality checks are completed by the quality department. After the training period, you may run more than one batch simultaneously. Most of your work will be completed individually, and you will use a dolly to move large chemical drums.
Responsibilities
Meet with team lead/supervisor to review assigned batches.
Transition batching sheets from paper to digital on a computer.
Review batch orders and utilize SAP to request materials.
Clean and verify equipment prior to mixing.
Weigh and charge materials, working with organic solvents and powders.
Ensure quality checks are completed by the quality department.
Run more than one batch at a time after the training period.
Utilize a dolly to move large chemical drums.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience in small parts assembly with extreme attention to detail.
At least 1 year of experience in a role requiring quality control and assurance.
At least 1 year of experience in data entry and/or computer literacy.
At least 1 year of batching experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year in a chemical manufacturing role preferred.
1+ year in a cleanroom environment is a plus.
1+ year utilizing SAP is a plus.
Familiarity with 5S is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
