Aerotek Preventative Maintenance Technician in Troy, Missouri

Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician- Weekend Shift $30-$35 for Well Known Automotive Supplier - Great foot in the door opportunity!

Must be ok working on day shift to train for a few months , then move to a 3 day weekend shift on night shift. 6pm-6am ( 36 hours , paid for 40)

Job Description

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for testing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems. This includes working with circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives. Your role will also involve fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts made from metal, plastic, and wood for various projects, equipment repair, and maintenance work orders. You will write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment according to standards.

  • Diagnose and repair issues with machinery and equipment.

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in preventive maintenance.- 1 to 2 years

  • Industrial experience preferred over commercial or residential

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Ability to problem-solve and continuously improve processes.

  • Knowledge of safety compliance and regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
